Final Sale
All artwork, painted hats, embellished hats, and wearable art pieces are final sale. Due to the nature of original, handmade, and artistic goods, returns, exchanges, and modifications are not accepted for any reason.
Refunds are not issued to the original form of payment. Any refund, if granted, will be issued as store credit only, at the sole discretion of the artist.
Original, One-of-a-Kind & Limited Pieces
All items are either one-of-a-kind or produced in limited quantities. Natural variations in color, texture, brushwork, embellishment placement, materials, and finish are inherent to the artistic process and do not constitute defects.
Product photos are provided as accurate representations; however, slight variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, and the handmade nature of the work.
Custom & Commissioned Work
All custom, commissioned, or personalized pieces are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with style, color, or artistic interpretation.
Order Review & Cancellations
It is the buyer’s responsibility to review all product details prior to purchase.
Orders cannot be canceled, changed, or edited once placed.
Shipping & Risk of Loss
Once an order has shipped, risk of loss transfers to the buyer. The artist is not responsible for lost, delayed, stolen, or damaged packages caused by shipping carriers or incorrect delivery information provided at checkout.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Shipping Damage Claims
If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, the buyer must contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery and provide clear photographic evidence of:
The damaged item
The original packaging
The shipping box and label
Failure to meet this requirement may result in denial of any store credit consideration.
Care, Wear & Use
Artwork on hand-painted and embellished hats require thoughtful care. Each piece has been treated with a protective finish to help preserve its quality; however, to maintain its appearance over time, it’s best to avoid exposure to moisture, heat, friction, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, cosmetics, oils, and rough handling, as these factors can contribute to natural wear.
To keep your hat in its best condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Place it in a hat box or on a clean, flat surface to help maintain its shape, and avoid stacking heavy items on top. If possible, use tissue paper or a soft cloth inside the crown for added support, and keep it away from dust, oils, or anything that could transfer onto the surface.
Normal wear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions is not grounds for a return, refund, or store credit.
I stand by the quality and craftsmanship of my work and am committed to helping maintain your hat over time. If your piece requires repair, you may return it at your own shipping expense for evaluation. Please contact me first and include clear photos of the damage so I can properly assess the issue. All repairs are handled at my discretion, and a small fee may apply depending on the extent of work needed, particularly for artwork and/or crystal embellishments.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the artist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use any product.
Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, imagery, and content remain the exclusive intellectual property of the artist. Purchase of a physical item does not grant rights to reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit the work in any form.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies in full. These policies apply to all purchases, without exception.

Return & Exchange Policy
Effective Date: April 12, 2026
Each hat band is handmade with care, utilizing natural leather and hand-strung beadwork. Due to the custom, handcrafted nature of these pieces, all sales are final.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are not accepted unless an item arrives damaged or defective.
Damaged on Arrival: If an order arrives damaged, contact sales@kristinafaillacrowder.com within 3 days of delivery. Please include clear photos of the item and the packaging.
Approval: If approved, a replacement or repair will be offered based on availability.
Natural Variations: Please note that normal variations in leather grain, beadwork, and finish are expected. These are not considered defects but rather the unique character of handcrafted art.
Repairs
I stand behind the quality of my craftsmanship. Repair options are categorized as follows:
1. Craftsmanship Warranty If a structural issue occurs as a result of the craftsmanship itself (such as a failure of the beaded section or attachment points), a repair may be offered at my discretion. This does not include damage caused by regular wear, improper use, environmental exposure, or accidental damage.
2. Long-Term Maintenance & Restoration For issues occurring beyond the initial delivery period due to extended use or accidental damage, I offer restoration services to ensure your piece lasts for years to come.
Requirements: To facilitate a repair, the customer must return the original beads and components.
Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with sending the item to me.
Process: To request a repair, email sales@kristinafaillacrowder.com with photos and a description of the issue. If approved, I will provide you with a service quote and shipping instructions.
Order Accuracy & Shipping
Buyer Responsibility: It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure all order details, including shipping address and product selection, are correct at checkout. Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have been processed.
Processing: Orders are processed in the order received. Times may vary due to the handmade nature of each item.
Transit: Once an order has shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier. Lost or delayed packages must be addressed directly with the shipping provider.
Product Care & Liability
Care: Hat bands are made with genuine leather and delicate beadwork. Avoid exposure to water, excessive heat, and harsh chemicals. Damage caused by improper storage or "hard" wear is not eligible for complimentary repair.
Disclaimer: By purchasing, the buyer agrees that these products are used at their own discretion. Kristina Failla Crowder is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from the use or misuse of products.
Apparel Return + Exchange Policy
All apparel and merchandise are made to order specifically for you. Because each item is custom produced upon purchase, we do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect size selection, color choice, change of mind, or buyer's remorse.
Please review all sizing information carefully before placing your order.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can review your claim. If approved, we will gladly arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.
Orders may be canceled for a full refund before production begins. Once production has started, cancellations may be subject to partial refund eligibility based on production status.
Please note that we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for orders with incorrect shipping information provided at checkout, refused deliveries, or delays caused by customs or circumstances beyond our control.
Intellectual Property
All designs, images, and products are original and owned by Kristina Failla Crowder. They may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without express written permission.
